when looking into buying an asrx i was convinced that this addition was essential, because of what everyone was saying about it. i find i never use its sounds, they are way to electronic for my taste, having no real instruments, which i prefer. i am heavy into real instrument sampling and the urban card doesnt suit my style of production for the most part. what do you guys think?
anyways imthinking of selling mine . anyone interested hit me up at fiveapc@aol.com

mmm I really have to disagree. I think the sounds on that card really make into a nice sound module. It has some great drum sounds. Some of the synths sound really good as well. They are VERY EASY to sell like the man said. High demand and low supply.

I have only messed with the ASR-X I am about to buy for one day and it was the EXP-3 that had me sold. I will be teaming it with my MPC2000XL and will be a welcomed addition to my studio. Now I just need to find a RAM expansion card and a SCSI board...

I find EXP-3 sounds very useful durig concerts. Some leads and pads sound really cool!!! I guess, all those exp cards simply add something that is a must have in the Ensoniq keyboards, but what the company decided to make an additional card and charge the musician additional hundreds of dollars. But these sounds are worth the money. However, it really depends on the style you are using and the creativity of one's mind...
