Thanks for your quick response to my question about recording a stand-alone drum machine on the sequencer of my EPS. I was wondering if you have found the details of the solution you mentioned.

oops. sorry for the huge delay. my 16+ is on the blink so I can't test this. But I think I just set up the 16+ to get ready to record a sequence, hooked up my sampler to the 16+, then as soon as I hit play on my sampler, it started the recording.
so you first have to create a new sequence, then edit the sequece per below. then record.
Here's something. In my 16+ manual, it's got a clock source you can set. It says...
EDIT - SEQ.SONG - 4 (CLOCK SOURCE)
tHIS PARAMETER DETERMINES THE cLOCK sOURCE. tHERE ARE TWO POSSIBLE CHOICES:
(resetting my all-caps now)
--INTERNAL - The EPS-16 PLUS will use its own internal clock
--MIDI - The 16+ will sync to incoming MIDI colcks from a remote device. This is useful when sybcing to a drum machine, but recording on the +.
Then I might recommend setting the SEQ COUNTOFF to OFF. (EDIT - SEQ.SONG - 8) but this is probably automatic.
THe big question is whether this will work on the EPS classic. mine's the plus.
