wut up peeps, im trying to find out how u hook up a cd player to my asr. 1st? can i use any cd player or can it be a portable? 2nd? when i have it hooked up do i set the cd player to mono or audio?3rd?does the asr take wave samples? if it does how do i get it started? the reason y i asked is because ive been trying to get sounds by floppy. some 1 told me i can hook a cd player up 2 it and sample off that. i went to a music store to try and find a sample cd, and they asked me if it took waves? and i dont know the ? to that can some1 pleez helppppppppppppp meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. i would really really appreciate it. thanx

ASR doesnt take wav. files
so you can't directly import the files you'll have tosample them and save them... they'll be in efe. format so you can load them from floppies

kool, so now i know that it dosent take wave files. If i was to get a zip drive would that help me in anyway download or get sounds off of that, and wut would be the process for starting up,or is their any way i could go straight from my computer to my asr. that would be nice.
do i really need a zip?

the only way is to get epsdisk and the disk utility programs and save them to floppy
but your better off just burning the sounds to cd and sampling them into the machine

so i guess buying floppies would be the best bet. does it take alot to put sounds on asr with floppies???
