I am able to buy a perfectly fine EPS classic for $180.00. I am currently making beats on Fruity Loops. But I have a lot of vinyl and it just doesn't feel right sampling it into my computer. I want a good piece of hardware where I can sample my vinyl into and make good beats. I want that grimy feel to my beats. I can't afford the MPC or ASR-10. So my question is should I buy it?

for that price I would jump all over it if it has a 4x expander. Otherwise your sample time will be limited. You realy need the 4x memory expander to work with large loops on this unit, and the expanders are price if you do not have one on the board you buy.

any ensoniq sampler $hits on fruity loops... mpc's as well. if your goin for that grimmy feel its not a match. I used to own an mpc4000 and although the sequencer is amazing, and the architecture is easy the sampler, filters and effects were pretty bland.
you just cant get that feeling on the mpc's
