Hey everybody this is my first post and not sure how many people still post here but here goes.
Anyone here try resampling long samples at higher octaves to save disk space? Example, a scratching performance that is 8 bars, resample your highest octave of that (same sample just sped up, but because it's sped up its it takes less time to play the full same sample)
this is the poor mans scsi for long samples. Works great if you don't have a scsi or extra ram.
Happy sampling and beat making everyone.

Hi,
it easier if you make dat before sample into the ASR. Here is my method: Take your sample => change the pitch from 33' to 45' on your vinyl or audacity/daw for mp3's => sample the result into the asr => change de rootkey => VoilĂ !
Like dis you can sample a 3mn whole song easily, if you have the max ram memory set. Moreover, you can sample different trim of the sample in the same instrument.
I'ts quite cool, if you want to use the other instrument bank for others samples.
