What up Tarkan? Nice to meet you, I had inherited an ASR-10 from a friend that was not able to bring it him as it was too much too ship. These modules are heavy!!
I have had it since dec 2012, I use it in conjunction with a sp 303. I like bouncing back and forth between the two, but most of the work is done on the ASR-10.
Happy beat making from Canada

I sample mostly from records. My set up is connected turntables -> mixer -> asr -> sp 303. I like it this way because I can eq my samples before chopping them in the asr. It's also easier to lay down scratches this way too. Because you can keep the sequencer playing while sampling your scratching.
I sometimes sample from cassette tapes or CDs as well. How about yourself?

i use everything to feed the samplers. but i really like vinyl. problem is i cant get them knock on the eps classic. the other ensoniqs knock on the kicks but the eps classic is difficult. i also process the samples before i sample them sometimes. like an eq or an compressor...
