Yo, so I'm trying to feed my mic into the ASR, use some of the dope onboard FX like the reverb for my voice etc, then feed it into Pro Tools, but Id like to be able to have it a constant flow. IE, the vocals pass through the ASR into Pro Tools directly.....

If you get an output expander for the ASR then you can run from extra outputs into your protools input, while the main-out handles your normal ASR output.
You just have to redirect the sample source to the new output.

hum...so there's no way to just feed a mic into the inputs and send the signal back out through the outputs?

No, I don't think there is a way to set up the ASR to be in effect a signal processor while it is doing anything else, unless you get an output expander and effectivley seperate where your instruments are coming out and where your sound source input is coming out.

No sorry. miscomunication, I just want to get my voice through the FX to the main outs... I'm not in front of the ASR now, but i think I wasn't gettting the signal back through the outputs. If I set it up to resample through the main outs, and then just not sample, but track the signal into PT... will that work?

If I set it up to resample through the main outs, and then just not sample, but track the signal into PT... will that work? I can't see why not. If you can hear it and the signal is routed to main out, then you should be able to have the effected vocal coming through to your recording device. what you can't do is have the ASR making any other sounds at the same time, or else they will appear on the recorded track with the vocals.
