What's the exact message wen try to save sounds? 1) Are you able to load the sounds back in your sampler? 2)<how do yo manage your disk files?>>> cuz "38" files is the max tht can be grouped 2gether at once for one directory. Key is to create ALL (the most ya can) DERCTORY at once drive is formated; i.e: one ROOTT Directory>> one SOUNDS directory>>> one SEQUENCES Directory>>> one BANK Directory>>> ect... in the SOUNDS directory create i.e a FACTORY SOUNDS Directory + a "MY SOUNDS" directory... and so on. That way you're just preaparing your drive to be use to the fullest. I'm afraid tht you should have to reformat your drive... Hope tht will help!

Hi, The Root directoy is the default top level directory, if you do not create any sub-directories, you'll be limited to the 38 files of th Root. Creting a new directory:
*Press command, then system.MIDI and scroll to CREATEDIRECTORY command den press YES *you may edit the name of your new directoory *once you've chosen the name, press ENTER.YES will create a new sub-directory in the current one. The display will show DISK COMMAND COMPLETED. Keep in mind tht "a directory is a group of up to thirty-eight files"
Let me know whut whut, and good work!
