I was wondering how can you EQ the vocals off the sample. I am confused. Please help. Thanks.

you cant really do that, but if you figure out what frequencies the vocals are at (i never really thoght about it numerically) but you could try to filter them out the best you can. i dont think you'll ever get it to a point where you're satisfied.

the only way to get the vocals off a sample, or the sample off the vocals, is to either get a vynal with instrumental/acapella on one side and the songs on the other, or get one of those cd "kerioke" vocal removal devices... they work pretty well. I'm actually considering getting one because these days ya cant find everything on vynal...

What are better ways to remove the drums from a sample only borrowing the melody?
