*two months later...* Not sure, as I don't have any experience with EPSdisk. However, if it were me, I would just cable from the audio out on my PC into the input jack of the EPS and sample the sound. Happy Halloween!

Yo man, get that program called reCycle... I swear by it,.....u can chop stuff up in it, and it lays it all out on the keys for u. But u need to understand midi to hook it up, all it is is a simple midi connection from your pc to eps/asr an setting the properties in the program. hoped that helped

ok, the following is the only reliable way i know of....
if you have a software DAW type program, such as protools, which runs audio out to a good interface (such as the mbox) or a good sound card, then you can preserve the sound quality well.
in protools/mbox, for instance, load the sample (file->import audio to track), and simply connect your mbox analog outs to the eps audio in. play the sample from protools while you sample it into the eps.
WARNING..... the eps-16+ only samples in mono. in other words, you cannot sample any stereo sample, only the left or right channel of that sample. also, do not try to sum stereo samples to mono, you will get bad phase issues.
